INS-1 cells with doxycycline inducible expression of EGFP or EGFP-L10a fusion were generated from INS-1/FRT/TO cells (Thomas et al., 2004), as were the previously described IRE1α chemical-genetic variants and XBP1s-expressing cell lines (Han et al., 2009).
