All MRI data were acquired on a 3 T Signa MR System (GE Medical Systems, Milwaukee, WI). The anatomical scans consist of a T1-weighted sequence, 146 slices, 220 mm FOV, 1 mm slice thickness, voxel size 0.86 × 0.86 × 1 mm, 0 gap. T2*-weighted functional data were acquired in an interleaved order, between 28 and 32 slices to cover the whole brain, 240 mm FOV, 5 mm slice thickness, voxel size 3.75 × 3.75 × 5 mm, 0 gap, TE = 30 ms, TR = 2 s. fMRI data were taken in an oblique orientation, with each slice being perpendicular to the long axis of the hippocampus. Patient and control MRI data were acquired between 2007 and 2013.
