Figures 2 and 3 graphically report the linkage results for Q1 for the Luhya and Yoruba samples, respectively. Note that these analyses are based on 150 replicate pedigrees for the Luhya sample and 100 replicate pedigrees for the Yoruba sample. Also, because we used the IBD matrices for our single-point analyses, no inference regarding the strength of a linkage signal is made for regions in between the actual genomic positions of the genes.
