In this study, an approach to the investigation of the genetic basis of Bipolar Disorder was pursued. Particularly, we sought to integrate the results of genome-wide analyses of genetic regulation of DNA methylation and of gene expression to inform on the biological relevance of the results from genome-wide association studies of Bipolar Disorder.
