Because detection of GxE interaction effects can be sensitive to scale (Eaves, 2006), we performed natural log transformations on our measure of environmental risk and conducted the regression analyses again. The results were not qualitatively different: the interaction effect remained significant (p=0.033), suggesting that these GxE effects are robust to variable scaling.
