of the LOA of the height PGS, while we predict those factors to explain ~38% and ~72% of the LOA in EAS and AFR ancestry, respectively. For T2D and HTN, respectively, we found that ~82% (S.E. 14%) and ~86% (S.E. 20%) of the LOA can be expected because of MAF and LD differences between EUR and AFR ancestries. However, we note that the standard errors of the latter predictions are large. On average over traits (with a significantly reduced RA), we found that MAF and LD differences alone can explain up to ~37% (S.E. 5%), ~57% (S.E. 11%) and ~86% (S.E. 7%) of the LOA in SAS, EAS and AFR ancestry, respectively. Standard of average over traits were calculated using leave-one-trait-out jackknife (Supplementary Note 7).
