Text

Participants were asked “What do you consider your ethnicity to be?” (Hispanic or Latino vs. Not Hispanic or Latino) and “What do you consider your race to be?” (Black/African American, White, Asian, American Indian/Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian/Other Pacific Islander). Due to small sample sizes, American Indian/Alaskan Native, Asian, Hawaiian/Pacific Islander and other were combined as one group in all logistic regression analyses. Participants’ reports were recoded as White, African American, Hispanic, and Other.
