The study cohort consisted of 101 non-alcohol dependent siblings, aged 21–35 years old who were predominantly of African descent. Other ethnicities represented include persons of European (9.9%), Asian (2%), and other (2%) descent. The mean body weight and height were 81kg and 170cm respectively. Females reported more alcohol dependent relatives. Average SRE scores, drinks per drinking day, maximum drinks, and quantity of drinks are presented in Table 1.
