loaded into SOLAR. Pedigree files included singleton and twin sib pairs. Separate covariate screening commands were initiated for each LR trait (SRED, SRRD, SRHD and SRTT), with age, gender, body weight, quantity of drinks, and drinks per drinking day as covariates. During covariate screening, only significant covariates were included in the final analysis of each LR trait. Heritability analysis was also repeated on a sub-sample comprised of only African Americans. Residuals were within a standard deviation of 0.5 and kurtosis of 0.8 as required by SOLAR.
