Center time in the open field, another measure of anxiety-like behavior and activity in a novel environment, was also unchanged between groups (Figure S3D, 2-way ANOVA: p=0.94, F=0.005). Thus, C57BL/6 mice are behaviorally resilient and adolescent binge drinking procedures do not alter global locomotor, spatial learning, sensorimotor gating or anxiety assessments in young adults. Only the reversal learning probe trial indicated persistent young adult dysfunction following adolescent binge drinking.
