Text

In HFD-WT mice, the Nrf2 protein expression level in hepatocytes nucleus was multiplied by 3.87 in comparison with the control group (Figure 2A). While in liver cytoplasm the Nrf2 protein expression level was decreased by 36.8% in HFD-WT mice compared to the control (Figure 2B). The hepatic CYP2A5 protein expression level was multiplied by 11.13 in HFD-WT mice compared to CD-WT mice (Figures 2C,D). However, in Nrf2-null mice the expression level of CYP2A5 in hepatocytes was not changed by HFD feeding (Figures 2C,D). In the control groups, Nrf2 deficiency did not influence the basal expression of hepatic CYP2A5.
