The cohort included 6 304 188 individuals (48.9% women and 51.1% men; median age, 30.5 [IQR, 15.0-46.4] years) with a median length of follow-up of 16.9 (IQR, 11.2-16.9) years. Altogether 27 342 individuals had an OCD diagnosis (57.2% women and 42.9% men). The median age at first OCD diagnosis was 28.0 (IQR, 20.3-39.8) years.
