Four widely used non-parametric approaches of solving the inverse problem were compared using a Monte-Carlo analysis where at each simulated dipole position (108 positions considered in total) a total of 100 source localization trials were performed. The effects of regularization and noise on each respective inverse solution were also analyzed.
