work is in fairly early stages, but Figure 2 suggests how this general approach might be explored more systematically in the future, for example, through a series of small trials investigating the effect of each module on the behavioral target, similar to the strategy implemented by Baskin-Somers and colleagues (Baskin-Sommers, Curtin, & Newman, 2015). Eventually, ANA-linked frameworks might be used for pre-intervention assessment of individuals who would then be exposed to specific interventions designed to modify their own pattern of specific deficits and strengths. Again, while this strategy would be complex and cumbersome if implemented with clinicians, it would be relatively straightforward if both assessment and treatment delivery were largely computerized.
