calculated as the sum of the risk alleles with P values less than a threshold (PT), weighted by the effect sizes. The associations between the constructed MDD PRS and alcohol-related phenotypes in our Thai cohorts were tested by linear (AD and MAXDRINKS) or logistic (flushing) regression using glm in R, adjusting for age, sex and the first 3 PCs. Samples 1 and 2 were analyzed separately and then meta-analyzed. Eight PT thresholds (0.00001, 0.0001, 0.001, 0.005, 0.01, 0.05, 0.1 and 0.5) were considered. Multiple test correction for the eight PT were considered.
