Bootstrap evaluation for the MDS trajectories shown in Figures 7 and 8 was conducted by calculating the correlation coefficients between the observed male and female trajectories along the corresponding axes and exhibited on the left side of Table1 under "Observed Correlations"; then for each bootstrap sample the same correlations were calculated and their mean over the 1000 bootstrap samples was determined and shown on the right side of Table 1 under "Bootstrap Mean Correlations". Additionally, the correlation coefficients between the observed trajectories and each of the corresponding bootstrap sample trajectories was calculated and the means are shown in Table 2 for each sex.
