There were no obvious differences in the expression of transcripts for Hedgehog, Wnt or BMP family members between groups, but the significant increase in transcripts encoding transforming growth factor-β family members in control iPSC may suggest a mechanism underlying the observed differences in dorsal/ventral neuronal phenotypes between groups.
