We hypothesized that individuals with relatively blunted VS reactivity and elevated exposure to ELS would report increased anhedonia. Moreover, we posited that stress-related anhedonia would indirectly link relatively blunted reward-related VS reactivity and elevated ELS exposure to other increased depressive symptoms as well as problematic alcohol use via drug-related coping.
