A primary goal of this study was therefore to employ this new CSD-PCA approach for an improved characterization of OERPs (i.e., N1, P2) in schizophrenia patients and healthy adults. Following the findings of Turetsky et al. (2003), it was predicted that schizophrenia patients would show reduced N1 and P2 amplitudes (i.e., their CSD equivalents) when compared to healthy adults, and these OERP differences will be most evident at higher concentrations of H2S.
