The variances explained by PC1 were 33%, 28%, and 29% in IMAGEN-T2, ENIGMA-CTRL and UKB-CTRL, respectively. As shown in Figures 1A and 1C, the spatial patterns of standard loadings of PC1 were highly correlated among the adult samples, with Pearson’s correlation coefficients ranging from 0.88 to 0.97. Variances explained by the resulting PC1 to PC8 are shown in Figure S1. The standard loadings, as well as the variance explained by all resulting PCs for each dataset, are shown in Table S2. The correlation coefficients and p values of the correlation analysis for PC1 are shown in Table S3. For the subsequent comparisons, we derived a single PC1 (Combined-PC1) using adult samples from these datasets.
