Here we describe the developments in the Gene Ontology resource since our last update article (7). We focus on our progress on the curation and public release of GO-CAM models, the continuous collaborative work to refine the GO ontology, the review and improvement of the quality of our annotations, and the expansion of the usability of GO through a redesigned website, documentation, data access, visualization widget and 15 years of historical archives of the GO knowledgebase.
