We used FUMA (Watanabe et al., 2017) to map SNPs to genes and then test for enrichment of specific Gene Ontology functions and pathways among genome-wide significant pleiotropic and disorder-specific SNPs separately. Hypergeometric tests identify any statistical over-representation of genes from the input list (mapped from SNPs) in predefined MSigDB Gene Ontology gene sets which describe biological processes, molecular functions, and cellular components.
