Within the Partners Biobank patient population, we identified 1,039 cases of opioid use disorder from EHR-based diagnosis codes among 21,310 individuals with European ancestry. The cohort included 11,420 females (54%) and 9,890 males (46%), with a mean age of 60 (SD=17) years at their first clinical visit. The demographic features of patients with and without OUD are shown in Table 2.
