Prediction accuracy was also assessed for 11 publicly available GTEx neurological predictor databases, and RR2 values used to compare to CMC DLPFC performance. CMC DLPFC models had higher average RR2 values, more genes with RR2 > 0.01, and significantly higher overall distributions of RR2 values than any of the twelve GTEx brain tissue models (ks-test, p < 2.2 × 10−16; Figure 1a,b).
