Personality and temperament traits are stable representations of emotional, motor and attentional reactivity to stimulation, as manifested by an organized pattern of behavioral responses across a range of contexts.1 The assessment of personality and temperament measures in human populations is therefore a major component of efforts to correlate higher order behaviors with underlying biology.
