Hypothesis testing theory and procedures to test Hypotheses A, B and C above are explained in Appendix C. For the test we can either use the standardized t-distribution or an asymptotic of the t-distribution to create the Wald statistic. We provide R scripts and examples that work with general linear model outputs.
