16p13.11 was also the top recurrent region in genome-wide, region-specific analyses combining deletions and duplications (patient:control ratio=7:1, one-sided empirical p=0.13; genome-wide permutation corrected p=0.86). This region-specific effect was driven by deletions; no excess of 16p13.11 duplications was found in patients with OCD/TS compared either to sample controls (patient:control ratio=2:1, one-sided Fisher’s exact p=0.65) or to published controls (10/8329)28 (one-sided Fisher’s exact p=0.83).
