Table 4 and Supplementary Figures 1–4 show the correlations coefficients for the AUD group between gray matter volume and the FC in the ROIs; there were significant differences in both gray matter volume and FC between the groups. There was a negative correlation between the FC of left insula—ACC, SMA, and mPFC and the gray matter density of the ACC, SMA, and mPFC in the SN (r = −0.48, P < 0.05) (Table 4; Figure 1).
