Chunk #59 — Methods — Additional Replication through Further Follow-Up Using In Silico Results from the CHARGE Consortium — Meta-analysis of stage 1+2 results with CHARGE data
We combined the association results for WC from the GIANT and CHARGE samples to derive a combined meta-analysis of all studies (Figure 1). This analysis was performed using the METAL software for pooling of the P-values based on the weighted Z-score method, using the P-values calculated in our stage 1+2 meta-analysis (excluding ERF and ERGO) along with the P-values from CHARGE.
