The genes containing the 88 ASE SNPs were analyzed using IPA; 17 were involved in nervous system development and function or neurological disease (enrichment p-value ranged from 8.8E−04 to 3.7E−02), including neurotransmission and coordination (Fig. 2e), movement disorders and neuromuscular disease.
