We used MCF7 cell ChIP experiments with antibodies targeting STAG1 and RAD21 proteins, downloaded from the Short Read archive (accession ERR011980, ERR011982). These were mapped using Bowtie50 with standard settings but discarding non-unique hits, and peak-called using MACS53 with default settings. We then used the intersection between peak sets as proxy binding sites for the cohesin complex.
