Presumably due to the smaller sample size of the AFR data (reflected in the imprecise estimate of SNP-heritability, SNP-h 2 = 0.08, SE = 0.09), the standard errors of the genetic correlations were quite large (Supplemental Table 6). However, the genetic correlation between DSM-NicDep and ICD-TUD in the AFR ancestry was significant at p < 0.05 (r g = 0.58, p = 0.024) (Toikumo et al., 2024).
