Text

We applied our GPA model to the analysis of five psychiatric disorders, as has been done in previous publications using different methodologies [12], [18]. Traits included were attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), bipolar disorder (BPD), major depressive disorder (MDD), and schizophrenia (SCZ). Detailed information about these data sets is provided in [12], [18]. Summary statistics of the five psychiatric disorders were downloaded from the section for cross-disorder analysis at the Psychiatric Genomics Consortium (PGC) website. The p-values were available for 1,230,535 SNPs in ADHD, 1,245,864 SNPs in ASD, 1,233,533 SNPs in BPD, 1,232,794 SNPs in MDD, and 1,237,959 SNPs in SCZ, respectively. We took the intersection of those SNPs, resulting in a p-value matrix for the five psychiatric disorders.
