Participants completed a translated version (Ivkovic et al. 2007) of the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire-Revised (short form; EPQ-R) and the General Health Questionnaire 30 (GHQ). The EPQ-R is a self-report inventory with each scale tested by 12 items requiring a binary ‘yes/no’ response (Eysenck and Eysenck 1975). The GHQ is a 30-item, self-report questionnaire of recent psychological distress with 4-response categories (Goldberg and Williams 1988).
