the 10-ppm cut-off range were permitted to participate in the session if they reported at least 10 hr of deprivation and their CO value was less than 50% of their baseline CO (4.3 % of the main study sample). Analyses were performed in the main study that both included and excluded this subset of individuals, with no significant differences noted in the findings (Cinciripini et al., 2006). Consistent with our previous approach, this analysis included the entire sample of Caucasians and African Americans with genotyping information available for the SERT.
