For later genomic biomarker analyses (e.g., genetic, gene expression, sequencing, proteomics, epigenomics, serum/plasma levels of biomarkers), peripheral blood will be taken at each time-point of assessment for deriving DNA, RNA, serum, and plasma. The storage of biomaterials is split between different refrigerators, all of which were monitored by a central alert system 24 h/day 7 days/week.
