TLI=.51). Modification indices suggested the addition of a direct path from marital satisfaction at 12 months to marital satisfaction at 36 months. The addition of this path (and the deletion of the following non-significant paths: from marital satisfaction at 12 months to warm/sensitive parenting at 24 months and from depression at 12 months to marital satisfaction at 24 months and warm/sensitive parenting at 24 and 36 months) resulted in a significant improvement in model fit: χ2difference (4)=36.66, p<.05. Moreover, this model adequately fit the data: χ2 (11)=21.38, p=.03, RMSEA=.07, CFI=.97, TLI=.92, SRMR=.05 (see Fig. 3).
