As previously described two weeks prior to the experiments, 1.0ul of virus was infused into the dorsal hippocampus (AP 2.0 mm; ML ±1.5 mm; 1.5mm DV from bregma) at a rate of 6 ml/h28,51. All infusions were confirmed by immunohistochemistry.
