The SSAGA interview was repeated at Time 3 and the number of 11 DSM-IV alcohol abuse and dependence criterion items that occurred during the 2 year interval since Time 2 was recorded. This outcome is referred to as “alcohol problems” in the Results and Discussion sections of this paper.
