These group-specific contrasts also revealed additional results: at M-RS, the GAD (vs PTSD or HC) group demonstrated increased α connectivity from mPFC→PCC (GAD vs PTSD: t = 3.25, p = 0.003, d = 0.95; GAD vs HC: t = 2.65, p = 0.012, d = 0.82), suggesting GAD-specific augmentation in this α connectivity. No other differences emerged between the HC and GAD groups (ps > 0.411).
