AD symptom count (p = 4.1 × 10−6) and DSM-IV AD (p = 2.6 × 10−7) in the same sample of COGA families. Although rs2168784 has a variable MAF across populations the frequency in unrelated individuals from the COGA families (0.111) was similar to the MAF for Utah Residents with Northern and Western European ancestry (CEU) population estimated in 1000 genome project (0.118).
