iPSCs were grown on Matrigel/mTesR1 media. For teratoma formation, ~107 iPSCs were pelleted and injected into SCID mice underneath the kidney capsule. Tumors were harvested after week 10 and analyzed using standard techniques with interpretation by Frank H. Lau (Cowan Lab, HMS, MGH).
