In a recent work in a case-control study using GWAS data on the COGA sample, Edenberg et al [79] identified the most significant SNP rs10511260 on chromosome 3 with p-value (P) = 3.4×10− 6. A cluster of SNPs was found in a region of chromosome 11 with p-values ranging from 4.8×10− 5 to 6.9×10− 4. No single SNP showed genome-wide significance (5×10− 8). In the following sections, we will compare our results from dTDT on COGA data with these findings from Edenberg et al’s work.
