For instance, the weaker and non-significant correlation between MDD and Combined-PC1 might represent more disease- or region-specific changes in MDD relative to the other disorders assessed. In addition, given the large proportion of variance (about 30% on average) accounted for by PC1, future studies might consider the relatively substantial impact of the PC1 pattern when analyzing CT data.
