After Olig2Flox/Flox mice at P5 were anesthetized, the skin above the skull was disinfected and a small cut was made. Injection of the virus into the corpus callosum was performed using the following coordinates from Bregma: anteroposterior 0.2, mediolateral ±0.5, dorsoventral −1.6 as described52. Subsequently, the wound was sutured with silk and xylocaine was applied locally. After the surgery, mice were returned to their home cages with parents.
