Male C57BL/6 mice were used for this study. Mice were ordered from Charles River Labs (Raleigh, NC), and were allowed to acclimate to the animal facilities for seven days in our animal facility prior to treatment. Adolescent mice were requested with the stipulation that all mice were the same weight, in order to reduce potential variability in brain size, and arrived on P21. At P28, animals were divided into control and ethanol treatment groups with five mice per cage. Prior to behavioral testing, 2-3 mice were housed per cage and given one week to acclimate prior to testing.
