FRET analysis by flow cytometry was performed as described previously29. Briefly, HEK 293T cells were transfected with the indicated ECFP and EYFP fusion protein constructs and harvested 24 h later for FRET analysis. FRET signals were examined on viable, ECFP/EYFP double-positive cells.
