Subjects were evaluated to obtain information regarding current health and sociodemographic characteristics. Exclusion of subjects with major psychiatric disorder was based on the Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interview [21]. Substance-abuse and -dependence diagnoses were determined using the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-IV [22]. Exclusion criteria included major neurological/medical illness or taking systemic medication; history of head injury with loss of consciousness, neurological or cardiovascular disease, traumatic brain injury or any other condition that is likely to affect brain function; pregnancy; diagnosis or history of bipolar I or II disorder, ADHD, psychosis, pervasive developmental disorder, major affective disorder, motor tics or Tourette’s Syndrome, or seizure disorders; current or past use of psychotropic medication.
