that our genotyping accuracy rate is 99.9%, it is probable that a substantial portion of these haplotypes that were observed only once are actually artifacts secondary to genotyping errors. Therefore, we re-imputed haplotypes using the data from a set of four SNP that together could distinguish the six major haplotypes [SNPs 3 (rs531460), 23 (rs279843), 26 (rs1440130) and 28 (rs11503016), see Figure 2]. Using this method, we once again observed six haplotypes whose frequency was greater than 1%. However, this time these six haplotypes accounted for 99.2% of all the haplotype diversity.
