predicted to be eQTLs (π1 = 0.20, π1 = 0.14 to 0.27; table S10). An even larger fraction (48%) of sQTLs detected by sQTLseekeR associated with changes in relative abundances of gene transcript isoforms, were identified as eQTLs (π1 = 0.48, π1 = 0.13 to 0.70; table S10). This enrichment of eQTLs among sQTLs is larger than expected at FDR < 0.05, but a substantial fraction of sQTLs are unique and not detected by standard eQTL analysis.
